Posted: April 28, 2023

Tickets for Council’s 2023 Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner are now on sale.

Council officially announced the launch of the 2023 Business Excellence Awards at the Quarterly Business Breakfast in November last year.

Since the announcement, excitement has been steadily growing with the calling of nominations and entries for various Awards categories, as well as voting for People’s Choice Award.

Councillor Julie Mathews said the Gala Dinner is sure to be a fantastic night celebrating the Region’s business community.

“The Gala Dinner will see some of our leading local businesses celebrated and acknowledged in front of their peers in a night designed to recognise their achievements.

“With comedian Dave O’Neil acting as master of ceremonies entertaining attendees during the evening, it is sure to be a night that everyone will remember,” said Cr Mathews.

Awards to be announced on the evening include Customer Excellence, Technological and Innovation Impact, Employer of Choice, and New and Emerging Business.

With entries received from businesses from a variety of industries and enterprises, judging by an independent panel was sure to be both interesting and challenging, with the following businesses announced as Finalists:

“To say this category was hotly contested is an understatement, with close to 1,600 votes submitted by the public,” continued Cr Mathews.

The Gala Dinner will be held at the Arthur Titley Centre from 6pm on Saturday, 20 May 2023 and tickets will include a three course meal, complimentary champagne on arrival and live music by GeneXis.
